In view of the announcement of the schedule of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 by the Election Commission of India, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has revised the examination schedule for the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019.

Karnataka KCET 2019: In view of the announcement of the schedule of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 by the Election Commission of India, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has revised the examination schedule for the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019.
Now, the Karnataka KCET 2019 will be held on April 29 and 30 and language test will be conducted on May 5.

Official notification by KEA:

"In view of the announcement of the schedule of Loksabha Elections 2019 by the Election Commission of India on April 10, 2109, the government of Karnataka has directed the KEAR to conduct the CET-2109 exam on new dates," read the KEA official notification.


Karnataka KCET 2019: Registration process

Also, the KEA has extended the application process of the KCET 2019. Now, candidates can apply on the official website till March 20.


About KCET:


Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority
As per the guidelines, the candidates who clear the paper will be eligible for admission to first year or first semester courses in engineering, technology, farm science, pharmacy, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani and Homeopathy), architecture, medicine and dentistry for the academic year beginning in 2018.
It is necessary for medical and dental candidates to clear the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 held by the Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE).
Moreover, Architecture aspirants will be required to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) paper 2 or the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) held by the Council of Architecture.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Source:- India Today
