Karnataka girls will now get free college education in govt colleges In a very empowering move, the Karnataka govt has decided to bear the expenses for college educating the state’s girl children. In a massive push to educate the girl child, the Karnataka government took a great decision on Wednesday by announcing that it will bear the cost for the college education of all girl children in the state who are pursuing pre-university, graduation and post-graduate courses in colleges run by it. The Department had earlier published the tentative schedule and asked for objections from the stakeholders. After considering the objections, some considerable changes have been made in the 2nd PUC time table. The  tentative schedule  for 2nd PUC exam met with some changes as the Department of Pre-University Education, updated the final 2nd PUC time table 2017 on Tuesday. Though the exams will commence and conclude on the same dates, the subject papers have been shuffled. All the exam will be held in the morning shift from 10.15 am to 1.30 pm.
