The exam is slated for May 7.


The official notification of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 has been released on the official website. The exam is slated for May 7.


The candidates who are appearing for the exam must go through these topics:


Physics:




Chemistry:




Biology: 




The exam will consist of 180 objective type questions Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of the test would be three hours.

The candidates can opt for question paper in either of the following languages:

  • Hindi
  • English
  • Gujarati Marathi
  • Oriya
  • Bengali
  • Assamese
  • Telugu
  • Tamil
  • Kannada
The option of medium of question paper should be exercise while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.

Important dates:

  • Schedule for on-line submission of application: January 31 to March 1
  • Last date for successful final transaction of fee: March 1
  • Date of uploading of admit cards on website: April 15
  • Date of examination: May 7
  • Declaration of result: June 8
  • Display of OMR sheet: Will be intimated through website
  • Display of answer key: Will be intimated through website

About the exam:

It is conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across the country after review of various state syllabus as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT and state Board.
